The Ivory Room
me too Luncheon
Saturday, 24 February 2018
Location: Quest Conference Center at Polaris
8405 Pulsar Place, Columbus, Ohio 43240
Keynote Speaker: Lauren Roman
“This “me too” luncheon was an unqualified success. The room was filled with the Holy Spirit and those who attended were incredibly blessed by the experience. It was really magnificent. The women laughed together and cried together. They hugged and renewed past acquaintances and made new friends. There were women from all four corners of Ohio as well as women from several other states. It was simply amazing.”
Julie Ziglar Norman, Past Keynote Speaker
We hope you will join us in February 2018!
Lauren began her professional acting career at just 19 with a 3-year role as Laura Kirk English on the ABC soap opera “All My Children.” From the outside, everything looked perfect – but behind the scenes, it was a different story. Lauren was wrestling with guilt and regret over an abortion at age 18.
After nearly 10 years of struggling, Lauren finally found forgiveness and freedom through a post-abortion Bible study at a Pregnancy Resource Center in Los Angeles. Lauren discovered a newfound purpose to share the truth of Galatians 5:1 freedom and became a fervent advocate for pro-life ministries.
The dramatic flair and comedic skills Lauren has honed throughout her acting career have created a fresh and engaging voice, as she transparently shares her testimony and brings Biblical truths to life. As an accomplished singer and worship leader, Lauren also weaves music into her messages to reach listeners’ hearts and minds in a profound way.
As part of her music ministry, Lauren independently released Songs of Hope and Healing, a collection of songs dedicated to anyone on a recovery journey. A vital resource for post-abortion programs, the project features Child of My Heart, the impassioned song of a mother singing to her unborn child in Heaven. Now based in Nashville TN, Lauren enjoys acting in the Southeastern regional scene – she was most recently seen in the primetime drama “Nashville” and the Christian film “Grace Unplugged.” . But her greatest joy and fulfillment is found working with PRCs and ministries nationwide, helping to save and change lives. Lauren’s unforgettable beauty-from-ashes story is both an inspiration and a stirring call to action for us all.
